On 11/5, we went to check out Hankyu’s mobile sweets shop, “The Depachika on Wheels”, which had come to Nishinomiya.
It came to “Charm Suite,” a paid nursing home in Nigawa.

Whoa! The Depachika on Wheels. It’s got the Hankyu Department Store logo on it.
And of course, the vehicle is in maroon! The Chiikawa Hankyu Bus is also the same maroon as Hankyu trains, but this one came first. Apparently it’s been running since July.
The staff aprons were super cute too.
Sugar Butter Sand Tree, apple pie flavor. Looks like it’s popular.
They had plenty of red bean sweets too.
Lots of sweets with a very premium feel.
Normally, these are sweets you’d have to line up for at Hankyu Umeda Main Store, so being able to buy them so easily is quite a special opportunity. (Oh, but the popular items sell out in an instant.)

The answer is “Kameda’s Kaki no Tane”.
The assortment lineup is seriously intriguing. Spicy sauce (doro), fried chicken, tempura aonori… I’m way too curious lol.
On the left is an edible smoothie from KAGOME, known for tomato juice. On the right is Calpis(R) Jelly. This is a drinkable jelly. I said drinkable jelly twice because it’s important.
This red box is, surprisingly, “Happy Turn”!! The packaging is pretty intriguing, and the price is 2,160 yen including tax.
This is the smaller version. It comes in five flavors. I’m curious what’s going on with the mystery powder. 692 yen including tax.
I ended up buying it!

Depachika sweets overflowing with flavor! The flavors are apple & camembert.
Whoa, the mystery powder looks divine.It was a fine, smooth mystery powder, kind of like dry sand.
What is this?! It’s so refreshing! The mystery powder is fluffy too.
It’s like Happy Turn with a refreshing appleeeee flavor. Then the camembert comes in very subtly?? This was the only flavor I bought, but personally, I highly recommend it. It’s the kind of thing you have to buy for your family.
So, it’ll be coming to Nishinomiya again tomorrow, Tuesday, November 7. There are two locations.
