I heard that the donut specialty shop “T-donut.” in Tsuto Inari-cho along the Imazu West Line has started selling churros, so I went to try them〜.
Here it is↓

It had just opened yesterday last year(November 9)! In other words, it was their 1st anniversary.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 6-17 Tsuto Inari-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
What I Bought at “T-donut.”
When you order churros, they make them freshly fried right away〜

Churros (cinnamon and chocolate) 200 yen each (tax included)
Right now, they had two kinds: cinnamon and chocolate!
First off, I’ll just say this: best-by time is 3 minutes.Just my very personal opinion

Even through the bag, you can feel how freshly made and piping hot they are.
This was Shacho-mi @ Nishi2’s face after taking the first bite

Huh? What?! kind of face lol
It was like: crunch! Then soft and melty.
Crispy on the outside. The inside is the complete opposite, so tender. The gentle sweetness somehow feels nostalgic. It’s such a natural sweetness. A taste that makes you feel happy〜.

The owner said that when they went to Osaka, there was a churro specialty shop, and after trying one, they thought, “Hmm? The oil feels a bit heavy.” That made them think, maybe I’ll try making my own.

Apparently, they made prototype after prototype to get the texture just the way they liked it.

The ingredients are this simple, too〜. I guess that perfect balance is what brings out the texture and sweetness.
How to Buy

As soon as you enter the shop, there’s a ticket machine on the right where you can buy your order.

You can also eat inside〜.

It’s alkaline ionized water, but how should I put it? It felt like pure water that just smoothly goes down, with a clear taste. No, not really a taste. More like, it just goes “suuu” lol. You’ll understand once you drink it.
10:00〜around 18:00(closes when sold out)
Closed
Wednesdays(in November, they’re also open on Wednesdays)
Address

Finally
Churros aren’t exactly a natural food at all, they’re processed, but I was kind of happy that these were made in a way that felt so natural. Definitely go check them out〜.
