A while back, Niko from Nishitsu wrote an article called “Found a sign along the Shukugawa River that looked like it might bring good luck.”
That smile looks great（If you look closely, the characters for “smile” look like they’re smiling）
On the other side, it says Say it out loud: Happiness Alright!!
That sign has since disappeared, which made us a little sad.
But then,
some readers found all kinds of them for us!

A month later, maybe because the string was too long, it looked like it had been wrapped around a branch. Unfortunately, the tree itself was cut down, so it’s apparently no longer there. Photo taken in October 2021
This one is a different type. It seems to have been hanging from a cherry tree in front of a certain parking lot. Photo taken in November 2021
Apparently, one was also secretly placed inside the men’s restroom at the facility in this parking lot. (Not currently confirmed)

If we give away the exact locations, they might disappear again like last time, so we’re intentionally not sharing detailed spots. If you look closely at the photos and this page, you should be able to get a general idea of the area they’re in, so try going on a little treasure hunt on your day off. If you find one, make sure to say “Happiness. Alright!” out loud.
