The Christmas tree in front of Shukugawa Station is lit up again this year.

The lights were switched on at around 5 p.m. on December 2.
A lighting ceremony was held before the tree was illuminated.
They even had a proper switch set up for the ceremony.
Mayor Ishii also attended the Christmas tree lighting ceremony and gave a greeting.
With many Shukugawa residents watching,
the children sang “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,”
and both the reindeer and Santa really livened things up. We shared the scene this time via a live stream.
