You might think they came to City Hall because the team became No. 1 in Japan, but apparently they actually came to make a donation to Nishinomiya City!
The Hanshin Tigers have reportedly put limited-edition uniforms worn by the manager, coaches, and players up for a signed charity auction, with the hope that children who will carry the future, and their families, can enjoy smile-filled days through Tigers games.
Part of the auction proceeds will also be donated to Nishinomiya City to support children and families, including the “Child-Rearing Family Short Stay Program” and “Children’s Cafeteria Program” for Nishinomiya residents.
This time, Torakkii and Kiita came along.
