We went to check out the brand-new “UP Education Planning members-only study room” on the 4th floor of Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens Plus Building, which apparently reached full capacity almost instantly.
Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens Plus Building just opened in September. It’s directly connected to the station. You can get there without getting wet even when it rains.
We arrived on the 4th floor by elevator!
The entire 4th floor is occupied by three divisions of “UP Education Planning.”
There it is. The “members-only study room.”
Since it’s members-only, you can freely enter and leave using your smartphone. So modern.
First of all,
It offers a comfortable learning space year-round. From individual study to group study, it supports the study styles of high school students, university students, and working adults.

Okagami-san showed us around the UP Education Planning members-only study room.
This looks like a place where you could really focus.
First, the desks are spacious. And it’s bright. There are also USB ports and power outlets.
This chair. It’s really comfortable. How should I put it? The way it supports you feels great.
Apparently, the main floor is still farther inside.
There was this huge space even farther in!!
There are 59 seats in total.
Among them, there are 9 semi-private study booths with doors.
These semi-private booths are popular, and they seem to fill up quickly. They have locks too, so you can feel secure. You could really concentrate here.
There’s also a cafe corner where you can eat boxed lunches or bread.
There’s a vending machine.
I love ginger ale. Milk coffee and fruit au lait too! Nice lineup.
Of course, the water dispenser with cold and hot water is free to use.
On top of that, it seems you can drink coffee, black tea, and green tea for free!! It really has that lounge feel and makes you excited.
They also lend out scratch paper and stationery. So even if you’re like, “I forgot my mechanical pencil lead!!” you’re covered.
Also, the optional features are really well stocked.
Lockers for valuables.
There are also fully private rooms recommended for working adults.
They have soundproof panels, so they look good for web meetings and the like. There’s air conditioning too, and it’s the basic fee plus 308 yen per hour, so I think it’s inexpensive.
There are also small rooms that look good for group study. There were three of them.
