The winning bidder for the Nishinomiya Central Sports Park, Central Gymnasium, Athletics Stadium, etc. Redevelopment Project was decided on December 1, and this proposed rendering appeared in the related materials.

Tully’s Coffee
is listed as a partner company, so I’m thinking a Tully’s Coffee cafe might go in there. They also opened one in Corowa, so they’ve been on a roll lately～
This area looks like some kind of stage. There also seem to be several food trucks. There are parasols too.
The athletics stadium. It looks like the seating will increase from 500 to 1,000, and some of the spectator seats will have a roof.
This is the Central Gymnasium. A martial arts hall will also be built.

Actually, the renewal of this place had been planned for quite some time, and Nishitsu wrote about it in February 2019.
It seems that plan fell through for various reasons, but if it had gone according to plan, it would have been completed in October 2025!
Finally
The athletics stadium is scheduled to be completed in April 2027, and the Central Gymnasium in December 2027. The park, cafe, and everything else are scheduled to be completed in March 2029, so that’s still about five years away～. I think more details will come out over time, so we’ll write another article when they do.
