At “Hansai Memorial Monument Park” in Manganitani, a moment of silence is held every year on January 17 at 5:46 a.m.

This is the entrance to the park.
Flowers will be distributed, but only while supplies last.

This is what it looked like today, 1/17. A tent is set up like this, and it seems that members of the city employees’ union are handing out flowers for visitors to offer.

From 5:46 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Flowers are offered like this, and a moment of silence is observed at 5:46 a.m. As with last year, no guestbook area will be set up.

This was around 7:00 a.m. today, 1/17. Several media outlets were also there, and it seems they were speaking with people who had come to offer flowers. The flowers will be available until 4:00 p.m. today.
