It looks like a mochi-pounding event will be held at Mercado Mukogawa on Sunday, January 28.

The event starts at 10:00 a.m.
Each person will receive one pack of this mochi (2 pieces). Distribution starts at 2:30 p.m. (first come, first served)
The location is Mercado Triangle Plaza.

It’s listed on this calendar under 1/27, but the correct date and day of the week are Sunday, January 28!
On a separate note, it looks like on the 18th at Higaeri Kitchen Mukogawa, you’ll be able to try Koran’s pork buns, which will soon be available at Koshien Stadium. Apparently they used to be sold at Nishinomiya Hankyu too.
