There’s a big, lifelike dinosaur on the northeast side of the Murogawacho intersection along Route 171 (^。^)

It turns out to be a Tyrannosaurus carved with chainsaw art, standing on the corner of アイリス動物医療センター!
The display said it was carved by Keiji Kidokoro, made from cedar, and created between February and March 2009.

When you see it up close, even the teeth and the fine details of the dinosaur’s skin are faithfully recreated, making it feel even more realistic (^^) The sago palm and palm tree planted next to it give it a bit of a jungle vibe, and it really looks like it might start moving!!
Here’s the location↓
