On January 18, Nishitsu supporter Kagayaki No. 509 went to check out the food stalls at the Yakuyoke Grand Festival at Mondo Yakujin Tokoji Temple.

This is on the road near Mondo-Yakujin Station, around the Chicomart area.

Darts, shooting games, hashimaki, and more. Compared to last year, there were quite a bit fewer people walking around.

Tamago senbei and baby castella.

Oh, there’s a stall that’s super crowded.

It’s Sanpoya! An overwhelming line.

The front looks kind of like kebab. Horumon, meat-wrapped rice balls, and even something called fukubukuro. Gonriya~~! Apple candy, that is.

Seasoned fries, taiyaki. There are all kinds of sweet and savory things.

Public amusement game hall. It’s a shooting game.

Frankfurters, corn, grilled squid. It says yakiniku in the back. The fruit candy probably includes strawberry candy too.
They also had grape, pineapple, and mandarin orange fruit candy! Jaga butter and dried persimmons feel kind of unusual.

Toast, konjac, tandoori chicken, tonjiru pork soup, One Cup sake, amazake, and more. This place has a nice feel to it.

The second taiyaki stall. Is “strawberry milk” apple candy with condensed milk on it?

Oh! They even have xiaolongbao. In the back are long fries.

Disney-yaki! Probably baby castella. There’s karaage too, and even a skewer-grilling specialty stall.

What is 10-yen bread?!
Apparently it’s a type of pancake with mozzarella cheese baked into the batter. It originated in Korea as 10-won bread. In Japan, it seems 500 yen is the usual price. So it’s not 10 yen at all~~
