It looks like “Arima Kaido Onsen Suzuran no Yu,” ranked 2nd in Hyogo Prefecture in the Nifty Onsen rankings, uses Miyamizu water.
(Info provided by Iroha @ Nishitsu SP)
Apparently, there are two types of baths: a natural hot spring with free-flowing source water and a hot spring made with Rokko Miyamizu.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 11-1 Myoga, Yamada-cho Obu, Kita-ku, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture.
“Arima Kaido Onsen Suzuran no Yu” ranked 2nd in Hyogo Prefecture in the Nifty Onsen rankings.
Actually, it also took first place in several other categories: No. 1 nationwide in the “Open and Spacious Bath” category, No. 1 in Kansai for “User Votes,” No. 1 in Hyogo Prefecture in the “Reviews” category, and No. 1 in Hyogo Prefecture for “User Votes.”
It seems Miyamizu wells up in the indoor bath(the bath inside the building). There’s an indoor bath called the “daki-buro,” where you warm your body while holding a stone. It’s apparently one of their specialties.

Miyamizu is rich in minerals like phosphorus and potassium but low in iron, so it doesn’t have a reddish-brown color or strong smell. It sounds great for people who want to soak in a clear, transparent-water hot spring.
Still, I always thought Miyamizu was only for sake, but it’s used in hot springs too.
