A concept image has been released for the redevelopment in front of Hanshin Nishinomiya Station. For some reason, even though we meant to write “redevelopment,” it ended up saying “major development” instead. So embarrassing.

It looks like it will be built on the north side of Hanshin Nishinomiya Station. By the way, we also wrote about this back in 2020. The official name seems to be the Hanshin Nishinomiya Station North District Public-Private Partnership Project.
It appears to be the proposal from four companies: Hanshin Electric Railway, Hankyu Hanshin Properties, Osaka Gas, and NTT Urban Solutions. Via Kensetsu Tsushin Shimbun
It looks like it will be completed around 2030.
Here’s the area on the map↓
The address is around 3 Wajocho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

At the time, the plan was for Amity Hall to move to the station-front area, but in this proposal, it looks like it will not be relocated.

Like the route from Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station to Nishinomiya Gardens, it seems the second floor will be connected by a deck. Will they add that escalator?! Maybe not?!

Looks like they’ll be creating this fun-looking deck terrace. With food options and such, it could become a nice, relaxed space. They’re also planning events in collaboration with Ebisuta Nishinomiya.
By the way, this building will include the new Central Library (about 5,000㎡). It also seems it will be used as private-sector facilities, so maybe shops and other spaces will be included too (about 1,000㎡).
Red: Library
Blue: Park(urban plaza)along Fudabasuji
Purple: Tower apartment along Route 2
Black: Unknown. Maybe a commercial facility where the coin parking lot is now
Here’s where it will be built↓

The library, deck, and other facilities will be built around this Hanshin Bus waiting area.

Looks like a tower apartment building will be built in this parking lot.
By the way, a dashi Doraku vending machine was installed here recently, but will it disappear?
Lastly
JR Nishinomiya Station is also moving forward with redevelopment, and now Hanshin Nishinomiya is being redeveloped too, so starting with Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi, there’s a lot to look forward to. Since Hankyu Hanshin Properties is involved, maybe the tower apartment will be a Geo Tower. They also plan to include some kind of Osaka Gas system that can generate power even during a blackout. Looking forward to the latest technology.
