The mazesoba specialty shop “麺屋 はまる堂” near Koshienguchi Station has become the candy apple shop “りんごのおもい.”

What is the candy apple specialty shop “りんごのおもい”?
“りんごのおもい” is a candy apple specialty shop that also has a location on the first floor of the Don Quijote store in Nishinomiya.
The candy apples here are cut into pieces, so they’re easy to eat. The apples they use are also really delicious, and the balance between the sweetness of the thin candy coating and the apple’s tartness was excellent😆

Is Hamarudo still operating?
When Sasayan visited the shop recently, there was reportedly a notice out front saying it had been “temporarily closed for renovations since October 21 of last year.” So it had been closed for a while.
This newly opened candy apple specialty shop “りんごのおもい” appears to be run by the same owner as Hamarudo.
Hamarudo has not closed permanently. Although the timing is undecided, they would like to renovate and reopen, and it seems they’re currently operating “りんごのおもい” in the meantime until Hamarudo reopens😄It’s undecided whether りんごのおもい will continue operating alongside Hamarudo after the reopening.
As of 2/9, it was in trial operation. Since they don’t have all their staff in place yet, business days depend on the shift schedule, so they are closed irregularly.
On days they’re open, it seems they operate from 13:00〜22:00.
Final thoughts
It had been a while since the shop temporarily closed, so it’s good to hear that they’re planning to reopen🤗 I think sweet shops like this candy apple place are pretty rare around Koshienguchi. It’s the kind of flavor both kids and adults will probably enjoy, so why not give it a try?
