Event Details
As usual, the event is packed with things to do.
Events such as sake brewery tours, sake tasting lectures, and sugidama workshops were already fully booked through advance reservations.
Below, I’ll explain the event details using photos from last time’s report.
Paid Tasting
You can choose up to three cups to taste from the limited-edition kurabiraki sake. It comes with yawaragi water and a clear masu cup. The participation fee is 1,000 yen. An additional three tasting cups are 500 yen.
Food and Drink Booths
- Oden
- Frankfurters
- Yakisoba
- Takoyaki
- Pizza
- Kakinoha-zushi
- Kasujiru
- Coffee
- Baby Star, etc.
Baby Star means that Baby Star, right?
Lucky Bags
It looks like there will be two types again this time for 3,000 yen. Limited to 300 of each.
They also say an even better-value lucky bag will be announced at the venue. That sounds very promising.
Stage Events
There will be demonstrations such as kagami-biraki and komomaki. Miyatan will probably appear too.
The sake sommelier comedy duo “Nihonshu” will liven up the venue.
And plenty more besides.
Shachomi might be there too.
Finally
Last year, Nihonsakari’s event didn’t fall on the same day as Kikumasamune’s, which seems to have led to an unexpectedly large turnout of around 10,000 visitors. A big crowd is expected again this time, but with advance purchases through the app and other measures, the venue operations should run much more smoothly.
