The “Najio-Ikuno Kogen Fureai Bus,” which had been running on a trial basis until September 29 last year, will apparently begin full-scale operation from April 1.

The service is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 1, 2024, and will operate on weekdays only.

- Route A: JR Nishinomiya-Najio Station ⇔ Najio Sanso / Koyodai (fare: 300 yen)
- Route B: JR Nishinomiya-Najio Station ⇔ Najio Garden / Najio Heiseidai (fare: 300 yen)
- Route C: JR Nishinomiya-Najio Station ⇔ Najio Akasaka / Najio Midorigaoka / Najio Miyama / Ikuno Kogen (fare: 200-400 yen)
- Route D: Ikuno Kogen / Najio Miyama ⇒ Najio Akasaka / JR Nishinomiya-Najio Station (early morning only) (fare: 200-400 yen)
- Route E: JR Nishinomiya-Najio Station ⇔ Najio Heiseidai / Najio Midorigaoka / Najio Miyama / Ikuno Kogen (evenings only) (fare: 200-400 yen)
Fares listed are adult fares. Elementary school students are 200 yen, and children below elementary school age ride free. Senior passes and welfare passes can be used.

It’s weekdays only, but since this is an area with a lot of elevation changes, the new bus service should be a big help for many people. It may be especially helpful for residents of Ikuno Kogen in Kita Ward, Kobe City, who have had to travel via Nishinomiya.
