It looks like “Kenzu’s Plant Life Event” will be held at Frente Nishinomiya on Sunday, April 14.
(Information provided by Shinji and Iroha @ Nishitsu SP)
Date and time: Sunday, April 14, 10:00–16:00
This event was held at the same location a year ago, and it looks like numbered tickets will again be handed out from 9:00. If you have a numbered ticket, you’ll be able to buy items during the early sales period.

According to Shinji, who sent us the information, he arrived a little before opening time (10:00), but his ticket number was already over 100, and he wasn’t able to buy the staghorn fern he wanted.

Staghorn ferns are tropical ferns also known in Japan as “komori-ran” (bat orchids), and they seem to be known for their drooping leaves that resemble a bat in flight. Their unique shape and vintage-like look seem to be quite popular.
In Closing
Personally, I find carnivorous plants kind of fascinating. You know, the ones that catch flies and dissolve them. Cactus-type succulents are interesting too.
*Thank you to Shinji and Iroha @ Nishitsu SP for providing the information!!
