Hanshin Tigers player Teruaki Sato’s go-to udon restaurant, “はづき,” has closed.
(Information provided by Chanmy, Sasako @ Nishitsu SP, and Six Sensu)
Yesterday, 4/26, we published an article saying “The signboard has been removed from Teruaki Sato’s go-to udon restaurant, ‘はづき,’” and it seems that today there was a notice posted at the shop saying it had closed.
Here↓

According to Six Sensu, this notice was probably already posted as of April 20.
We regret to announce that (はづき) closed as of April 20.
We are sincerely grateful for all the support we have received from everyone over the years.
Thank you so much to everyone who visited our shop.

It does not appear to be open for business. The sign that had been in the planting area to the right of the door has been removed. The wooden sign that had been hanging to the left of the door has also been removed.

The address is 4-19 Araki-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Nearby Information Around はづき

If you go this way, you’ll find Kaminomachi Police Box, and at the end of the road is the direction toward places like Hair Salon Sasaki.

If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll head toward Coop Mini Omori and Kawarabayashi Elementary School.

The removed sign was at the edge of the building.

Inside the restaurant, there is a noren curtain from Sato. We also tried calling, but it only rang and did not connect. As for the official website, we’re not sure when, but it has disappeared.
Finally
There was a review from one month ago, so it seems the restaurant was open until at least a month ago. Looking at the various pieces of information together, it is highly likely that it has closed. After publishing this article, we also saw messages from people who had been thinking of going someday. The katsudon that Teruaki Sato loved so much. I’m sure it had many fans. It is truly sad to see one of Nishinomiya’s well-known restaurants close.
*Chanmy, Sasako @ Nishitsu SP, Six Sensu, thank you very much for the information!!
