My father was a city employee, and my regular doctor at the time was at Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya Hospital, so I often went there as a child. I loved the kitsune udon. When I got a little older, I’d go to the cafe next door and drink coffee. As an adult, I no longer had many chances to go, but every now and then I’d remember it and think I should visit again… It’s sad to see a place full of memories disappear from Nishinomiya.

After finishing errands at City Hall, it was a cafeteria where you could eat at a reasonable price, so it’s a shame it closed. I wonder if it was outsourced and the contract ended or something?

I’ve lived in Nishinomiya for many years, but I only recently started going there for lunch. It was cheap and had a variety of menu items, so I was disappointed when I saw the notice saying the operator was withdrawing. I hope a new operator is decided soon.
