There seems to have been a sighting today, 5/16 (Mon), of “a large dog wandering around” in Koshienguchi 1-chome.

According to the source, the dog is brown and is wearing a red collar, with no leash.

Nishi2 reader tさん took this photo of the lost dog at around 6 p.m. on May 16, heading south along the road on the Mukogawa embankment from Yamate Kansen toward Route 2.
It was apparently wearing a red collar. Could this be the dog we’ve been reporting on over the past few days? It’s dangerous for it to be out on the road.
By the way, it’s currently difficult for us to report in an article that the matter has been “resolved.”
Here’s why↓
- After a report is made to the police, if the police go to the scene right away and secure the dog there, then it’s resolved. (This is something we can report in an article.)
- If they can’t secure it there, but later secure a dog at a different location, it’s difficult to determine whether that dog is the same dog that was reported. (So it’s hard for us to report it as resolved.)
So either way, if you see it, we’d appreciate it if you could report it to the police.
