A large number of jellyfish have appeared in the Higashi River, very close to the location featured in the “Save Nishinomiya’s Jizo Statue!” segment of “Detective! Knight Scoop” that aired in May.

The white things are jellyfish
According to Nishi2 reader Lemon, who sent us the tip, “I’ve lived in Nishinomiya for many years, but this is the first time I’ve seen them in the river”, and there was also a faint smell of the sea.

The address is around 4 Yokaicho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture. It’s the river on the west side.
There really are quite a lot of them. They were spotted around noon on 6/5.
If anyone took photos, we’d love to see them〜. We’re especially curious about what it was like on the Jizo statue side〜.
