Hey, we found something at “甘辛の関寿庵” along Sakagura-dori that looks perfect as a little summer souvenir, so here’s a quick introduction〜.
Take Kaiseki 1 piece 292 yen (tax included)
We bought some.
The left is mitsumame, and the right is chestnut azuki.
This is totally bamboo.
Can you see how packed it is with azuki beans?
You can scoop out so many azuki beans. Amazing.
Wow〜. So rich. It’s like eating a manju bun〜
The mitsumame is so colorful and pretty! Cherry, peach, apricot, kanten jelly, azuki beans
And the jelly part is actually plum flavored! Refreshing and very summery.
Take Kaiseki also comes in a 3-piece set that’s perfect for a small souvenir,
and they sell 6-piece and 9-piece sets too〜.
They also have fruit jellies that are popular as gifts. The fruit pieces are big!
This one is kind of unusual. They even have baumkuchen with lemon jelly inside. Looks like it’s available only in summer
