The sign for the seafood rice bowl shop “Takadaya Donmaru” in Imazu along the Naruo-Mikage Line has been renewed.

Before↓
It used to have a rather white sign, and the shop name was たかだや 丼丸,
After↓
but now it has a shiny new orange sign! The shop name has also changed to 今津食堂 たかだや 😃
From the outside, it looks like the word “丼丸” is no longer there.

If you go this way, you’ll find Welcia, Tsuto Park, Tsuto Elementary School, Tsuruha Drug, Gourmet City, and more.
If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll reach the Imazu Nishi Line.
The Menu Is Still Donmaru’s. New Items Too
The old sign said “Specialty shop for seafood bowls and kalbi bowls”,
but now it says “Kalbi bowls, curry, katsudon, seafood bowls, and all kinds of rice bowls”.

they’ve added more hearty rice bowls with meat and other toppings. They even have unaju! I’m curious about the sushi shop’s fried rice 😋
The inside of the shop also looked almost unchanged, aside from the sign 😃

We don’t know exactly when the sign was replaced, but apparently the shop used to be part of the Donmaru rice bowl chain and became independent in April, with its trade name renewed as well. The official website was also renewed at the end of June. The menu has been powered up too, so whether you’ve been before or not, why not stop by? 😄
