Here↓

They’re ginkgo trees. The one next to the bulletin board in Tsuto Ayahacho has also been completely chopped down.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is around 1 Tsuto Ayahacho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
This is what it looked like before they were cut down↓

The trees on the left side of the photo are the ones that were cut down.

Looks like these four trees.

This is how it looks from the park side.
Why They Were Cut Down
The reason was very clear.

There’s an intersection here.
Can you tell why?

When the tree leaves grow thick, the traffic light becomes hard to see.

After the trees were cut down. The traffic light is much easier to see now.
Lastly

We tried layering the before and after images a bit. The translucent part is the ginkgo tree that used to be there. When you think, “If people can’t see the traffic light, an accident might happen,” it’s a little scary for nearby residents, so it feels like this tree removal couldn’t really be helped.
