It looks like an onigiri and deli side dish shop called “いちひろ堂” is opening in Komatsu Shopping Street near Mukogawa Station.

Across the street is Meiji Milk Murakami Sales Office.

If you go this way, you’ll find Showa Izakaya Hokkori-tei, Yakitori Tomoya, and other places, and it leads out to the old national highway. This is where “か里音” used to be.

If you go the other way, you’ll find Sushi Fuminoya, A1 Real Estate, Izakaya Hide, and more. Past there, if you go under the Hanshin Railway elevated tracks, you’ll reach Hyogo Medical University.

A Shop Run by the Grandchild of “だるま食堂,” Which Used to Be in Komatsu Shopping Street

The “Daruma-san” is also used in the shop’s logo.

Apparently, the name comes from the fact that the owner’s grandparents once ran a diner called “だるま食堂” in Komatsu Shopping Street. Does anyone remember it? 😄

Both Eat-In and Takeout Available

The menu was posted on the shop’s Instagram 🍙

It looks like they’ll have various options, including onigiri set meals, individual onigiri, and deli side dishes.

They’ll be open in two parts, morning and lunch, and will also offer takeout sales 😄

During the pre-opening period from Tuesday, August 27, they’ll be open for lunch only (11:00–18:30)
After the grand opening from Monday, September 16, they’ll be open in the morning and at lunch (7:00–9:00, 11:00–18:30)!

Lastly

People nearby must be happy to see a new shop opening in Komatsu Shopping Street. A place to eat that opens from 7 in the morning is pretty valuable, and it feels like it’ll become a lively spot for the neighborhood 😊 The pre-opening starts Tuesday, August 27, and the grand opening is from Monday, September 16.
