It looks like fares for the “Sakura Yamanami Bus”, which runs within Nishinomiya City, will be going up.

Along with Hankyu Bus fare revisions starting in October, Sakura Yamanami Bus fares will also be revised. This will be the first revision in about a year, following the last one in September of last year.
- In the southern urban area (flat fare), the current fare of 230 yen will increase by 10 yen to 240 yen.
- In the northern Yamaguchi area (distance-based fare zones), fares will change from the current 170 yen–870 yen to 190 yen–960 yen.

The fare increase starts on Tuesday, October 1.
Other fares, including one-day passes and coupon tickets, will also be revised.

By the way, on the Sakura Yamanami Bus, if you have a commuter pass, elementary school children can ride for free when traveling with family on weekends and holidays 😄 This also applies during the Obon holiday schedule, so be sure to use it when going out around the city with your family during Obon 🚌
