The address is around 10 Tsuto Sumiecho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
This tanuki is the famous Shigaraki ware kind from Shiga Prefecture. Its hat wards off misfortune, its smile represents hospitality, its big eyes show attentiveness, its big belly stands for composure, the sake bottle represents virtue, the ledger means trust, the tail says “the ending is important,” and the money pouch brings good fortune with money! It’s actually packed with lucky meanings〜
Maybe the Jizo statue is happy to have more friends.
