They look like the same type of “sensor-equipped fixed platform barriers” as the ones on the Koyo Line platforms at Imazu Station and Shukugawa Station😃

According to KAZU, when they asked a station staff member, the fixed barriers had just been installed this past Monday.
There was also a notice posted. It looks like construction will continue until around the end of October.
Not yet, but it seems they’ll eventually be installed on the Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi-bound platform as well〜
Lastly
According to KAZU, since the barriers had just been newly installed, one security guard was stationed there all day from morning to evening to watch over things for safety. We’re truly grateful that they’re helping keep Nishinomiya locals safe in this heat〜〜
