On Sunday, September 1, the “Nishinomiya Disaster Prevention Marché” was held at MUJI in Gardens. Toki no Tabibito @ Nishitsu supporter stopped by, so here’s what it was like〜

It looks like Miyatan made an appearance too! Apparently the appearance lasted 3 minutes〜 just like Ultraman!

Here’s what it was like today. There were talks about water during disasters and more.

The Nishinomiya Waterworks and Sewerage Bureau is aiming to build disaster-resilient “people” and a disaster-resilient “city”! We really hope they keep up the great work〜

Come to think of it, Miyatan is a water fairy, after all〜

There was also apparently a workshop by the Disaster Prevention Girls from Kobe Gakuin University, who specialize in studying disaster preparedness.

So this was a tasting corner for emergency food. Do you all keep emergency food stocked at home〜?

Lately, with the Nankai Trough advisory being issued and typhoons coming through, people’s awareness of disaster preparedness has probably grown.
We’ve been saying this over and over here at Nishitsu too, but we’d really appreciate it if you could check the hazard maps again for floods, tsunamis, and other risks around your home and the areas of Nishinomiya you often visit〜
※Thank you to Toki no Tabibito @ Nishitsu sp for the information!!
