The “Reisai” festival, held every year on September 22 at Nishinomiya Shrine, is the shrine’s most important ritual.
Centered around that day, the “Yomiya-sai” is held on the 21st, and the “Togyo-sai” is held on the 23rd. These three days are known as the “Nishinomiya Matsuri”.

Finally
Apparently, records of Nishinomiya Shrine’s mikoshi crossing over to Wada Misaki go all the way back to around the end of the Heian period〜😮 I went to see the Togyo-sai on the 23rd last year too, and I was really moved to feel that this old tradition is still very much alive today!
