What kind of event is it?
They’re looking for a cappella groups with ties to Nishinomiya. The event will be held in the following format:
- First round screening based on documents and audio submissions
- SNS popularity vote (October 15~October 31)
- Public final round at LaLaport Koshien on November 2!
The grand prix band will win the right to perform on the main stage at “Green Sound Stadium 2024” on December 1!

Here are the application requirements:
- At least one member must live in Nishinomiya City, be from Nishinomiya City, or attend school or work in Nishinomiya City
- The group must not be affiliated with a specific record company or music agency
- The performance style must be a cappella (unaccompanied)
- The group must be able to participate in the final round on November 2 and the festival on December 1 (backup date: December 7)
- The applicant (representative) must have an Instagram account
- Minors must be able to obtain parental or guardian consent
- The organizer must be able to hold the portrait rights and copyrights for photos and videos taken during the event

Fill out the required information on the entry form and submit a link to an audio recording of about one chorus. The deadline is 9/30 (23:59)

This event focuses specifically on “a cappella,” and it’s fun to see performers compete using only their voices, without instruments. By the way, there used to be a competition for bands called “Band Koshien,” but if you’re someone who can sing but maybe not play an instrument, this could be a great chance to go for it.
