It looks like “おいもや芋笑” in Nakasusa-cho along the Yamate Kansen road will be moving to a spot under the Hankyu elevated tracks.

It’s this spot under the Hankyu elevated tracks in Murogawa-cho, in the New Futaba Sun Mall shopping street.
It’s apparently scheduled to open around mid-October.
It looks like the shop name will change to “ヤキイモ・甘味処 芋しょう”😄

Area Around the New “おいもや芋笑” Location
Across the street is Wako Kindergarten.
Next door on this side is “自転車修理センター 夙川店,” the relocated shop of RinRin Koshien. Farther down are places like お食事処 美松, leading toward Route 171.
Next door in the opposite direction is the hair salon cHArM’n, and beyond that are カレーキッチン福耳, Nishinomiya Watanabe Hospital, and more.
According to the shop’s Facebook page, in addition to takeout sales, it will also be a shop where you can eat in😆
You’ll apparently be able to enjoy coffee along with roasted sweet potatoes, sweet potato desserts, and more☕️
Final Thoughts
Just recently, we noticed that the shop name had been removed from the sign at the Yamate Kansen location and were surprised, like “What!?💦” Then, right on cue, a reader sent us information about the relocation, which was a huge relief. With both the shop and the name getting renewed, plus eat-in service being added, we’re looking forward to the opening of the powered-up Imosho😄
