It appeared in front of Co-op near Hinoike Park at 4 p.m. A huge crowd had gathered〜
Just look at that power!
When a danjiri comes right alongside you, the force of the sound, or whatever you’d call it, is incredible. If you go see one, I really hope you experience it up close at least once.
These are tabi shoes. They have rubber soles so they don’t slip easily.
And a danjiri dog made an appearance too! Maybe that JIB bag smelled really good〜😆

What’s amazing is that all the kids can join in pulling the danjiri ropes. It starts in front of Co-op!

The wheel marks left after the danjiri passed by are impressive. You can tell exactly what route it took.
It passed by the Lawson at Hinoike Park and headed toward Kurakuen-guchi-dori.
When we arrived at Koshikiiwa Hall, we could hear the sound of another danjiri coming from somewhere.

Whoa!! The people in white!
These people in white are pulling the Ichiban Danjiri of the Koshikiiwa Youth Association OB Group・Ichibankai〜. They’re the veterans〜
The moment it climbs over this step into Kita-Shukugawa Elementary School is spectacular. Right as it goes up, it makes a huge DON sound.

This is the top of the danjiri, which you usually can’t see from above. The intensity is still incredible!

Whoa! That’s amazing!! You don’t often get to see this kind of full-throttle danjiri. Koshikiiwa is incredible.

The parade in front of Kurakuen-guchi Station at 7 p.m., and the magical nighttime entry into the shrine, sound really intriguing, so I’m thinking of going to see them〜.
