The plan for Benten Park in Koshienguchi, which we previously wrote would be renovated, has been announced.

What kind of park will it become?
Key points of the renovation
- More playground equipment for young children and fitness equipment
A small children’s slide, seesaw, sandbox, horizontal bars, and fitness equipment will be newly added - Three rest areas will be added
There will be multiple places where you can take a break while keeping an eye on your children. It looks like long benches and shade structures will be added too - A combined play structure will be added
A new piece of playground equipment combining a slide and jungle gym will be installed - A nature exploration area will be added
There will be an area where you can enjoy shade from the trees and catch insects - Renovation of the existing stone hill play equipment
The large sandbox will be removed, and handrails and a rock-climbing feature will be added - Replacement of aging trees
- The hedges near the entrances will be changed to fences to improve visibility
Construction has already started
It looks like construction started on Wednesday, September 25. Work will be carried out from 8:30 to 18:00, with a two-day weekend schedule.
The entrance was blocked off with construction fencing, so you couldn’t go in.
The ground has been dug up, and work already seems to be underway. You can also see heavy machinery in the back.
By the way, the sand hill will be reborn like this. It looks colorful and fun〜😆
The swings you can see in the back will be moved to the north side of the site.
