Do you know this place?

I wonder what’s back there?

Whoa!What is this place?!

What kind of facility could this possibly be?!
So, with that said,

Shachobi came to the Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens Gate Building

The Gate Building, where you can get to Gardens without getting wet from the rain at all. The elevator is over here.

Take this up to the 5th floor and…

There’s some kind of colorful logo!

This. Kodomo-kan. Apparently it’s an after-school program, but…

Wait, what?!

This is way more Kodomo-kan! than I imagined. It looks so fun!

“Which one should I choose? Science today? Or LEGO?” Along with those, there are also English conversation classes and lessons that help kids get stronger at geometry problems for junior high school entrance exams. A wide variety of learning classes are all gathered on one floor.

Let’s head to “Kodomo-kan” at the very back.

“I’m home!”
When someone says, “Welcome back! You worked hard today!” it really makes you feel at ease.

The person who welcomed us so brightly and cheerfully was Teacher Nakajima from “After School Kodomo-kan.”

First, they take the child’s temperature and check how they’re feeling!

Put down your belongings…

Wash your hands…
And next up is…

Starting with school homework.

It seems like homework is easier to get done when you’re doing it with friends. Plus, the teachers check how far each child has gotten and share their progress with parents, which is a huge help.

With the large windows making the room so bright, it feels really open and comfortable, like a place where homework might actually feel good to do. Of course, kids can also bring materials from cram school or home-study workbooks, and the teachers will manage their progress on those too! That’s seriously helpful.
Once homework is done, something fun is waiting.

Ah!That’s!

Caramel Corn

Ramune candy

KitKats and jelly

There’s everyone’s favorite snack time! Apparently kids these days really love Kataage Potato chips. I’m a ramune candy person.
