It looks like they were asking for nickname ideas around August this year, and they received an amazing 1,025 submissions😳
Its true identity is a “cat-like fairy”.
The profile says it always wears a costume, and it feels kind of fresh to see a mascot character refer to its own outfit as a “costume”🤣

Apparently Izunyan visited the Izumiya in Senrioka, Osaka last weekend! People were even able to take photos together, so maybe it’ll come to the Izumiya at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens sometime soon too〜😊
