A Lopia supermarket sign has gone up at Kohnan in Imazu. We’ve also found out exactly where the store will be located〜

They’re right in the middle of putting it up!

The address is Kohnan Nishinomiya Imazu Store, 1-26 Imazu Minato-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The wall on the Kaiten Sushi Rikimaru side was also in the middle of getting a Lopia sign painted on it〜
There are signs inside too. This is where Sports Authority used to be, on the side next to Joshin.
It looks like the back area will also get Lopia signage. So at minimum, it might be about half the size of the former Sports Authority? It’s pretty big. We went to take a look. It feels like it may be about the same size as the old Sports Authority. I’m guessing the area that used to be the Sports Authority back room might become Sports Authority. Just a guess〜
It looks like the parking lot side will become Sports Authority. The area where the Seventeen Ice cream vending machines and other vending machines used to be seems to have become the Sports Authority entrance. It also looks like a new shutter may have been installed on the wall where they used to sell backpacks and things, if I remember correctly. I forgot about the ice cream machines, but they’ve been moved somewhere.
Apparently, the store can now be registered as “My Store” on Lopia’s official app too〜
The renovation work period is until mid-December, so the opening date will at least be after that〜. Whether it’ll be late December, January, or February is still unknown for now.
Lastly
We’ve finally found out the location of the long-awaited Lopia〜! I used to go to Sports Authority quite a bit, and it was a really spacious store with a lot of depth. It may end up being half of that space, or maybe even more. Once the opening date is confirmed, we’ll let you know again〜.
