This is footage from a security camera installed in Koshien Takashiocho. You can’t see its whole body, but judging from features like its tail, it’s probably a raccoon.
Here’s the location on the map↓
According to Matsushi-san, it has been spotted along the same route before, so there’s a good chance this has become one of its regular paths.
It’s near Koshien Station, around Corowa Koshien.
Update 12/19)
It seems a raccoon was also spotted in Kusugawacho on the same day, 12/16.

The photo was taken by Karime-san. Apparently they walk along rivers too.
Raccoons may look really cute, but if you get close they may try to intimidate you, and there’s also a high chance they could cause harm, so it’s best not to underestimate them. Getting close can be dangerous. Please be careful if you’re around Koshien Urakazecho.
※Matsushi-san, thank you for the information!!
