It looks like the drive-thru store being built along Route 171 in Oshima-cho is confirmed to be “Starbucks.”

We had posted several articles before saying it looked like a Starbucks might be opening here, and now a job listing has finally appeared on the official site〜🙌😆
It says (Tentative) Nishinomiya Oshima-cho Store. Looks like the store name hasn’t been finalized yet
It looks like it will OPEN in early March next year〜！

The address is 6 Oshima-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture (tentative).
It’s between Nishinomiya 2 Rinkan and Taikotei Nishinomiya. This used to be a field.

If you go this way, you’ll find Nishinomiya 2 Rinkan, Pal Yamato, and other places.
If you go in the opposite direction, there’s Taikotei Nishinomiya, Maruhachi, and beyond that is Amagasaki City.
What the Site Looks Like Now
It’s surrounded by soundproof construction sheets〜
When we got a little closer, we could see a building going up behind the sheets😄 It has a dark exterior that feels very Starbucks-like〜
This is the view from the south side of the site (the side that’s not along Route 171). Looks like the paving will be done later. Wonder when the sign will go up〜？
It’s a little hard to see, but there’s a banner for “IKKEN Co., Ltd.” A reader told us that this construction company handles roadside Starbucks store construction projects〜😄Ohh, I see〜

There will be 16 parking spaces and a bicycle parking area too〜
The scheduled construction period runs until mid-February 2025. Since it’s set to open in early March, it looks like things are moving along as planned👍

The first time Nishi2 wrote that a Starbucks might be coming to Oshima-cho was back in July 2023, so it really feels like “it’s finally here!” ♪ Starbucks also received the most votes in our previous “stores we want to see open” survey, so this is truly a long-awaited opening😆 For those who often use Route 171, stopping by Starbucks may become part of the daily routine〜
