It looks like it started today, Monday, December 30😄
It’s open for a limited time until Sunday, February 2, and apparently you can skate there every day through the New Year holidays too〜! What does it mean that you won’t get cold even if you fall? It must be designed that way!
A skating rink is coming to LaLaport Koshien!
Hours:Weekdays 15:00–20:00
Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 13:00–20:00
※From 12/30 (Mon) to 1/3 (Fri), hours are the same as Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.On 12/31 (Tue), open until 19:00.
Fee: 30 minutes per session
Adults (junior high school students and older) 1,400 yen
Children (elementary school students and younger) 1,000 yen
Ages: 3 and up
※Children from age 3 through 2nd grade must be accompanied by a guardian aged 16 or older. (Accompanying guardians must also pay.)
※Gloves are required (available for purchase at the venue)

In Closing
It seems a similar temporary skating rink has also been set up in front of Grand Front Osaka in Umeda. Are these kinds of rinks becoming more common lately〜? By the way, Nishinomiya is home to Hyogo Nishinomiya Ice Arena in Naruo-hama, where you can skate year-round, and it’s a skating mecca that has produced some incredibly promising athletes!
