We received photos of the first sunrise of the year as seen from Nishinomiya.

Naruo
This one came from Twilight!

It has such a great atmosphere, like the colors of youth. You’d want to see this every day.
Haruhizaka
This came from Kagayaki 509-go, a Nishitsu supporter!

This is in front of Kitako, which has become quite the famous spot(scheduled to be renamed Kurakuen High School).

Apparently there were 175 people this year, which seems to be the most in recent years. Last year there were 163 people.
Around Kamimuko Bridge
This came from Kagayaki 509-go, a Nishitsu supporter!

So you can see it from the Muko River too. It shows up between the buildings.

The way the light streams in is mesmerizing.
Near Koshien
This came from Mami!

The sun is just peeking out a little from behind the clouds.
Koyoen
The photo at the very top of the article is from the same place. Before sunrise. Looks like it was 7:08. This came from Bizennokami!

Photo: Bizennokami
7:14. The area around the sun looks all softly glowing!
Nishinomiyahama
From Nishinomiyahama, this came from Yama Katsu Sandwich!

This is the first sunrise of the year as seen from Nishinomiyahama. The yacht looks lovely.
Kabutoyama Forest Park Observatory
Photos from the Kabutoyama Forest Park Observatory came from Manabu Taguchi!

Before the sun came up6:41

There it is! The buildings way off in the distance look almost like a mirage. By the way, sunrise was apparently at 7:11

That’s a lot of people. Aside from school excursions, I feel like this might be the busiest day of the year here. Probably.

So this is what the observatory looks like. I’ve never properly been there, so I’d like to go sometime

By the way, this photo was taken at Kannoji at 7:57, about an hour after sunrise. After an hour, the reddish color fades this much.
Kannoji
Photos from Kannoji came from Kuroki!

Kannoji at 6:00. A thrilling photo of the boundary between morning and night. You can see a night view like this from here.

Wow, it’s perfectly round!

I wonder what everyone was thinking as they watched the first sunrise of the year. It feels like it’s going to be a wonderful year!
We’ll be adding first sunrise photos taken from all kinds of places here, so if you send us one photo on LINE or social media saying, “I took this here,” we’d be happy to include it.
