Mochi Pounding Event Returns to Ueda Park on January 13 (Mon)

It looks like the “New Year Mochitsuki Festival” will be held at Ueda Park on Monday, January 13.

It looks like you can get mochi and tonjiru pork miso soup for free! This year marks the 34th time it’s being held😃 It’s got quite a bit of history

This super popular healing-style character😍 was even featured in a Hankyu Railway train wrap

Uenarie will apparently be taken down on Sunday, January 12, so you should be able to see it until Saturday the 11th.
