It looks like renovation work will be carried out on the elevator outside the ticket gates near the northwest exit gates of Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station.

Here it is↓

The work period is from 4:00 p.m. on 1/8 (Wed) to around noon on 1/31 (Fri). During this period, this elevator will be unavailable.

Here’s how it looks from the opposite side↓

The elevator is on the right after going a short way along the passage between Hankyu Bakery & Cafe and the stairs for the northwest exit.

It seems the work is due to aging equipment.

During the construction period, staff will be stationed on both the ticket gate level and the ground level. For wheelchair users, on-site staff will help them use a wheelchair stair lift.
It’s something like this↓

(The photo shows one installed at Imazu Station last April)
Staff will also assist people using strollers🤗
In Closing
If you use this elevator often, it may be a bit inconvenient for about three weeks, but station staff will be there to help, so it should still be reassuring to use the station. We’re also looking forward to seeing the elevator after it’s been refreshed😊
*Thank you, Kagayaki 509-go @ Nishitsu SP, for the information!!
