Here’s what it looked like in front of Koshien Stadium after the “Nishinomiya City Coming-of-Age Gathering for 20-Year-Olds” (formerly the Coming-of-Age Ceremony), held on January 13, Reiwa 7.

The name of the ceremony changed to “Nishinomiya City Coming-of-Age Gathering for 20-Year-Olds” two years ago.

After the ceremony ended, the area in front of Koshien Stadium was packed with 20-year-old Miyakko locals.

An announcement asked everyone to “please cooperate by leaving promptly.” People steadily made their way toward Hanshin Koshien Station.

This is what the program looked like. The ceremony itself was super compact at just 30 minutes. Where did you attend yours back in the day?

If you chose Nishinomiya Civic Hall, you’re probably 50 or older. The Prefectural Gymnasium would be ages 26 to 49 (this is the biggest group among Nishitsu readers). Koshien Stadium would be ages 20 to 25. Does that math check out? Sorry if we’re wrong.

Everyone looks like they’re having a great time. They must have been seeing some people for the first time in ages.

Still, even with this many people here, there isn’t a single piece of trash on the ground! Isn’t that pretty impressive?

These Miyakko new adults have a lot to look forward to from here on out~~.
