It appears to have been closed since around January 14 for renovations. The inside is currently empty and looks like construction is in full swing.
It is scheduled to reopen after renovation on Thursday, January 30.

We’re not sure whether the Nishinomiya Higashimachi Kita store had one, but recently it seems more FamilyMart stores have been reducing their in-store eat-in spaces and converting them into sales floor space. Apparently, usage has dropped since COVID, so it’s nice to see the sales area expand and the product selection increase😃
