According to information from a reader, the owner has not changed from when this was “婦人用品・子供服 まことや” (women’s goods and children’s clothing Makotoya), and it seems they have started offering handicraft classes (a handicraft corner) in addition to clothing. It’s run by a mother and daughter, and it looks like a knitting class was also being held on the afternoon of 2/5🧶

Across the street is Life.
If you go this way, you’ll find 919〜お酒とおいしいのん〜, 味包, 和みラーメン, the recently opened 買取大吉, 鰻の成瀬, 甲子園飯店, and more.
If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll find the rice flour cookie specialty shop Green kope, the onigiri specialty shop エイトボール, and then you’ll come out onto Honwaka Shopping Street Hondori. On the corner is 魚河岸 こうちゃん.
