Nami Sano, the creator of “Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto,” who passed away suddenly two years ago at the young age of 36, was from Nishinomiya.
She reportedly lived in Naruo until around age 26 and graduated from Nishinomiya Municipal Gakubun Junior High School and Hyogo Prefectural Naruo High School. Many scenes from the Naruo area appear in her works.
An exhibition dedicated to Nami Sano is currently being held in Kobe.

Finally
The “Nami Sano Exhibition” was also held at the Nishinomiya Civic Gallery last November, but if you couldn’t make it then, this is a valuable chance to see original artwork and unreleased storyboards. There also seem to be plenty of goods you can only buy here, so if you’re interested, why not stop by? 😊
*Kagayaki No. 509 @ Nishitsu SP, thank you very much for the information!!
