It looks like a crepe specialty shop called “QwanQwan” is opening in Nishidacho, under the Hankyu railway tracks.
(Info provided by Kaeitsu@Nishi2 SP)
We previously reported that the shop would be opening in Murokawacho, but it seems the location has changed, and it will now open under the Hankyu railway tracks in Nishidacho!
The opening date is reportedly planned for early July.
Here’s the notice↓

Opening in mid-June.
Until the opening, they are currently doing a pop-up operation at the bento shop “Nakakin” along the City Hall Front Line🙌
In February, they’ll be open for two more days, apparently on Thursday the 20th and Friday the 21st, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.!
Here’s where Nakakin is located↓
Here’s where “QwanQwan” will be located↓
The address is 1-7 Nishidacho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. This is the former location of the baked sweets specialty shop “Kyō no Oyatsu.”
Location information for “QwanQwan” is available → here
Originally an “Icing Cookie Shop”
They also have an official Instagram account↓

Apparently, their crepes let you enjoy both a crispy and chewy texture at the same time😍 “Crispy” is pretty unusual for a crepe, isn’t it? I’m curious!
They apparently use premium butter, Calpis Butter, in the batter.

There are three kinds of crepes↓
- Butter Sugar Crepe
- Butter Chocolate Crepe
- Butter Cinnamon Crepe
Each is 500 yen. Fresh cream topping is 100 yen.
It also says they were selling cookies before Valentine’s Day🍪

Looking at their Instagram, it seems the owner originally ran an icing cookie shop, and there are lots of super cute, absolutely lovely cookie photos posted there😍
I wonder if cookie products will also be available at this new shop. I’m definitely curious😊
Finally
Looking at Google Maps, it seems this area didn’t have many crepe shops, so this is great news for people nearby♪ The opening is still a little way off in mid-June, but if you’re thinking, “I’m too curious to wait!” they’ll apparently be selling at “Nakakin” on the 20th and 21st, so why not stop by?😄 More and more shops are opening under the Hankyu railway tracks, and the area looks like it’s going to get even livelier!
※Kaeitsu@Nishi2 SP, thank you very much for the tip!!
