A park is starting to take shape next to Nishiichi Drug in Uegahara.

There’s a sign for “Uegahara 4-bancho Park,” along with shaded areas, playground equipment, and what looks like plenty of grass. It’s really coming along.

The address is 3 Uegahara 4-bancho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
Area Around “Uegahara 4-bancho Naka Park”
If you go this way, there’s a FamilyMart, and you’ll reach the road that splits toward Uegahara Golf Center and the Imazu Nishi Line.
If you go the other way, Nishiichi Drug is right next door, with Gusto and other places nearby, leading toward Uegahara Elementary School.
The slide you can see in the back looks like it’s for little kids. It also seems like they’ll be adding a drinking fountain and tables.
This might be some kind of fitness equipment.
This playground equipment looks like it’s meant for elementary school kids. There’s something like bouldering, a spiral climbing pole, and what looks like a huge amount of sand.
Oh! The front left area looks like a sandbox.
Looks like it may be ready by April. So the official name is Uegahara 4-bancho Naka Park.
In Closing
It seems the Uegahara Elementary School district has been short on parks, and with this new one, the area will no longer be considered underserved. I feel like about 60% of my own childhood memories are from parks, so they really are pretty important.
