The line for Ozeki’s Kurabiraki event being held today, Saturday, March 1, has gotten incredible.
Here it is↓

This was the line as of 9:15 a.m.!!!

The line wrapped around behind Bikkuri Donkey, Mandai, and Kura Sushi next to the venue,

and kept going even farther!!

We could see inside from the rear exit of the Ozeki venue! The line for the paid tasting was wild too.

The line kept going…

The end of the line. It went more than halfway around the block with the factory, Bikkuri Donkey, and Mandai. In terms of distance, it was 320 meters!!
By a rough estimate, there were around 640 people!?
Inside the venue

With this many people, it looks like they were also limiting entry~~

It was packed inside too. Including the people already drinking inside, there must have easily been over 900 people!?

Sun TV was also there filming with a TV camera~~
Paid tasting menu

For the tasting, there were two kinds: Daiginjo namagenshu and Honjozo namagenshu!

Food trucks

A food truck selling steamed oysters from Shodoshima. An oyster food truck is pretty rare!

Steamed oysters (3, 6, or 9 pieces) and grilled firefly squid skewers (2 or 3 skewers)

Everyone’s favorites: yakisoba and fried chicken!

They were selling three kinds of karaage, bokkake yakisoba, plus fries, wagyu tendon, ginger neriten fish cakes, and more here~

This one is a seafood karaage food truck!

They had all kinds of options, like fugu, blue crab, shark karaage, whole grilled squid, grilled tuna, and more~

PIZZA-LA was there too~!

Two kinds of pizza, fries, and chorizo.

We’re looking forward to the stage events coming up too!!
Event details are here↓
Right now,

You can watch the Instagram Live from here~
After the Instagram Live, it’s also scheduled to stream on YouTube↓
AK shared some info about lucky bags with us~↓

They spotted a huge line from before 10 a.m.,

and apparently Sekijuan had lucky bags with different contents from the Kurabiraki event~

This one included
rice shochu “Yamada Nishiki,” two kinds of snacks, and two chilled sake glasses for 2500 yen.
Since shochu with one glass costs 3000 yen, it was definitely a good deal. Hope this helps!
